At StockCap you'll find everything for NPT threaded pipes from plastic plugs to large diameter vinyl flange covers. Pipe plugs are used on tubing made of various materials such as copper, steel, cast iron and aluminum, to name a few. Plugs protect various pipe fittings during production and manufacturing processes. Here are some of our more popular style plugs. (For Pipe Caps, click here.)
The major benefit to using vinyl pipe plugs for protecting pipe threads is the flexible vinyl material. It stretches to fit over threads and provides a tight seal against contamination while still being simple to install. And, unlike the harder plastic caps, vinyl will not crack, shred, or split.
Other commonly used terms: End Plugs, Pipe End Plugs, Vinyl Plugs, and more.
